Solobivak

“Knopje aan, zegt Martin”. We hear the same words from our captain a lot of times – “turn the switch on”. We need to turn the little button behind our ears on and allow our brain to work independently, drawing our own opinion and exposing it to the world.

So, everything on this projects works towards a simple goal – independent thinking. The solobivak, one of our best expeditions, was not an exception. We were dropped, for twenty four hours, alone in the woods, in Pico, without seeing anyone around us. The point of this experience was that we would reflect about our own experience and development. We got some assignments that lead us to a reflecting period about who we are and how we can become better people.

In SaS I believe that I became a more independent and mature person, able to speak for myself and for my own ideas. Thanks to an amazing group of people, I feel absolutely comfortable now to, in any situation, make my concept of right have a voice.
